CCTV Technician

Responsible for the installation and programming, of CCTV surveillance System for homes and commercial buildings

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, install, configure and maintain CCTv systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance check as detailed on the system specification.
• Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems.
• Update the system specification where necessary.
• Handle, complete and submit CCTV administrative documents
• Maintain and improve the CCTV system throughout identified locations.
• Perform repairs and commissioning of equipment, issuing commissioning certificate and keep in good state all related documents

Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.

Qualifications Required:

• SC
• Basic Electronics/ National Trade Certificate – Level 2/3
• City & Guilds Certificate

Alarm Technician

Performing alarm installations both wired and wireless, fault finding and diagnosing, electrical work and electronic connections.

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

• Ability to install an alarm systems both wired and wireless
• Commissioning of installed systems

Assistant Accountant

As an Assistant Accountant at SPPA, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance team. You will collaborate with industry experts, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to the success of a national security leader.

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the accountant in various accounting functions.
  • Maintain day-to-day transactions on the accounting software (Navision).
  • Record and post supplier invoices.
  • Post bank transfers to supplier’s accounts.
  • Prepare costing for foreign purchases.
  • Post monthly Depreciation of Fixed Assets and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Post stock costs to the General Ledger.
  • Handle salary and related journals.
  • Post monthly recurring journal entries.
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations and involve in the treasury function.
  • Prepare VAT and Tax Deduction Source (TDS) and other statutory returns.
  • Preform various reconciliations (pension, medical and general insurance).
  • Review creditors’ and debtors’ ageing list.
  • Collaborate/ liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare and reconcile stock counts on a regular basis.
  • Perform checks on sales invoices.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and management information packs.
  • Perform other relevant duties as and when required.

Your Profile:

  • Partly qualified (ACA/ ACCA) or a finance Degree.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (preferably Navision would be advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills (English and French, both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail.

  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive inventory records and databases.

  • Ensure systematic organization and maintenance of electronic security solutions equipment and other items within the store.
  • Implement effective shelving, stacking, and labeling practices for easy identification and retrieval.
  1. Issuing and Receiving Support:
  • Support Storekeepers in the issuance of electronic security solutions equipment and other store items to various departments within the company.
  • Assist in documenting returns and coordinating with relevant personnel.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Report any damaged or malfunctioning items promptly to the Storekeepers.
  1. Uniform Management:

This is primarily a sales role for the company’s Electronic Security Solutions and Services with ongoing customer relationship management. You will be responsible for winning new business and ensuring customer’s return to the company when they need to update their security systems. Customer satisfaction is imperative.

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

Sales and Business Opportunities

  • Handle inbound product enquiries and seek out potential customers, arranging appointments to understand their needs and demonstrate the products and solutions
  • Identify advertising channels that will drive more inbound sales

  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Remain up to date with industry trends at all times, be aware of competitors products and activities and make recommendations for improvement
